ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades pushed their winning streak to eight after coming up with a pair of wins at Augusta against the Lynx, including a record-setting 12-0 win on Saturday night. The Blades enter their busiest week thus far in 2008-09 with a record of 10-2-1 (21 pts., T-1st South Division).

Tuesday, November 25 at Gwinnett Gladiators 7:05 p.m.
GAME NOTES: The Everblades continue their nine-game road trip on Tuesday night at Gwinnett. The game is the fourth of eleven between the South Division rivals and the second of six at Gwinnett. The Everblades hold a 3-0-0 record vs. the Gladiators this season winning once at Gwinnett and twice over the Gladiators at home. The last time the teams met in Gwinnett the Everblades emerged with a 6-2 victory. The Everblades hold an all-time record of 17-19-8 vs. Gwinnett and are 7-12-1 all-time at Gwinnett. The Gladiators enter this week's action with a record of 6-5-3 (15 pts., T-3rd South Division).
Friday, November 28 at Reading Royals 7:05 p.m.
GAME NOTES: The Everblades' season-long road trip extends up to the North Division this weekend. On Friday night the Everblades face the Royals for the first of two times on this trip. The game is the first ever regular season meeting between the two teams. The only other time the Everblades and Royals faced each other was in the best-of-five American Conference Finals in 2004 which the Everblades won to advance to their first ever Kelly Cup Finals. Reading is coached by former Everblades associate coach Jason Nobili. The Royals enter this week's action with a record of 5-10-1 (11 pts., 6th, North Division)
Saturday, November 29 at Trenton Devils 7:00 p.m.
GAME NOTES: The Everblades' play the second of three straight North Division opponents on Saturday night when they head to Trenton, NJ to take on the Devils. The meeting is the first of two on the trip and the first ever regular season meeting between the organizations. Like Reading, the last time the Everblades faced Trenton was in the playoffs when the then Trenton Titans defeated Florida for the 2005 Kelly Cup Championship. The Devils enter this week's action with a 3-11-1 record (7 pts., 7th, North Division).
Sunday, November 30 at Johnstown Chiefs 7:00 p.m.
GAME NOTES: The Everblades wrap up a busy weekend with their first three-games-in-three-night's set on Sunday at Johnstown. The Everblades visit the famed Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown, PA that was made famous by the movie Slapshot . The game is the first of four between the clubs this season, and the only meeting between the teams in Johnstown this year. Sunday's game is the first ever regular season or playoff meeting between the two organizations. This game was originally scheduled for 2:30 p.m., but was moved by Johnstown to a 7 p.m. start last month. The Chiefs enter this week's action with a record of 12-4-0 (24pts., 1st, North Division).

Friday, November 21 at Augusta Lynx 2-1 Win
The Everblades increased their win streak to seven after picking up a 2-1 win over the Lynx on Friday night at James Brown Arena. Florida picked up a second period power play goal by Ross Carlson then collected the eventual game-winning goal early in the third period from Kevin Baker. Goaltender David Leggio earned his third straight win by stopping 20 of 21 shots to improve his record to 4-1-1. Florida Special Teams: PP: 1-of-10; PK: 5-of-6.
Saturday, November 22 at Augusta Lynx 12-0 Win
The Everblades set records in their 12-0 thrashing of the Augusta Lynx on Saturday night at James Brown Arena. The Everblades scored three goals in the first and third periods and sandwiched a record-setting six in between in the second period. Kevin Baker recorded his fourth career hat-trick, while Jacob Micflikier and Ryan Lang each chipped in two goals. Adding one goal each was Danick Bouchard, Peter Metcalf, Colin Nicholson, Ryan McGinnis, and Yannick Tifu. In goal Anton Khudobin pushed his winning streak to six straight after stopping all 20 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season and seventh of his career. In all the Everblades set all-time team records for most goals in one game, most power play goals in one game (6) and largest margin of victory. The team also tied a record for most goals in one period with six in the second frame. Florida Special Teams: PP: 6-of-9; PK: 4-of-4.

Player of the Week Nominees: This week's Everblades Player of the Week nominee is Kevin Baker who netted his fourth career hat-trick on Saturday night and finished the week overall with six points (4g, 2a) and a plus-3 rating. The Everblades Goaltender of the Week nominee is Anton Khudobin who recorded his second shutout of the season in his lone start and his seventh career shutout, after blanking Augusta 12-0 on Saturday night.
Special Teams Breakdown: Here's a look at the special teams of the Everblades and how it breaks down overall, home and away: Power play: 20-of-91 (22.0%) which ranks the Everblades 3rd in the ECHL. At home the Everblades are 5-of-51 (9.8%) which ranks 23rd. On the road the Everblades are 15-of-40 (37.5%) which ranks 1st in the league. Penalty Kill: 81-of-90 (90.0%) which ranks the Everblades 2nd in the ECHL. At home the 'Blades are 50-of-56 (89.3%) which is 5th. On the road the Everblades have killed off 31-of-34 (91.2%) which ranks 1st in the league.
Record Setting Night: In the Everblades' 12-0 win over Augusta on Nov. 22, the Everblades set or tied four all-time team records. The 12 overall goals was a new team record breaking the old mark of 10 set on Jan. 7, 2003 vs. Pensacola in a 10-5 Florida win. The margin of victory was also a new team record shattering the old mark of nine set on Apr. 3, 2007 at Pensacola in a 9-0 Everblades win. The Everblades also set a new team record for most power play goals in one game with six, breaking the old mark of five done three previous times in team history and last reached on Dec. 8, 2006 at Pensacola. Finally the Everblades tied a team record with six goals in one period when they tallied six in the second period, matching the team mark last set on Apr. 3, 2007 at Pensacola.
Who's Hot: Here's a look at who's been playing well for the Everblades of late: Both Everblades goalies are red-hot with Anton Khudobin winning six straight starts and rookie net-minder David Leggio winning three straight...Offensively, forward Kevin Baker has 10 points in his last four games...forrward Ross Carlson has a point in 10 of the last 11 games (7g, 6a) and points in 11 of the 13 games played this year...forward Ryan Lang has points in three straight (2g, 5a)...forward Yannick Tifu has five points in the last two games...forward Jacob Micflikier returned to the Everblades from the AHL last Saturday and promptly put up a career-high six points (2g, 4a) in that night'sgame.
PK is OK!: The Everblades' penalty killers have been strong all season long, but has been nearly impenetrable over the last eight games. During that span, the Everblades have been short-handed 50 times, but have only allowed three goals for a penalty killing percentage of 94.

Thelen will also reach the 100 games played milestone by playing in 23 more games.
