Royals Trade Jeff Corey To South Carolina

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the organization has traded forward Jeff Corey ["KOR ee"] to the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL for future considerations. In twelve games with the Royals this season, Corey scored three goals, assisted on one other (four points) and picked up ten penalty minutes.

The Royals are off until Friday (November 21) when the team travels to Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to take on the Chiefs at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena (7:05 pm). The Royals return to the Sovereign Center next Saturday (November 22, @ 7:05 pm) when the Elmira Jackals travel to Reading. Next Friday and Saturday's games will be broadcast live on the Royals Radio Network Presented by Transmissions by Arbogast (True Oldies WRAW 1340 am in Reading; and The Ticket WLAN 1390 am in Lancaster), as well as on the internet through the Royals website.
