Notes:

Vancouver Island Products: Tonight, the Royals played against a pair of Victoria, BC natives in Dylan Garand and Sean Strange. Garand also had his first WHL start come against his hometown club on October 6, 2018.

After Two Periods: For the first time this season, the Royals lost after leading through two periods. The club's record is now 6-1-0-0 when leading after 40 minutes.

Europe Bound: Yesterday, Royals' forward Igor Martynov joined the Belarus Ice Hockey Association's Under-20 Selection Camp. Belarus, who was relegated from the top group at the 2018 World Junior Championships, will compete in this year's Division 1 Group A of the World Junior Championships in Fussen, Germany.

Coming Up: Victoria continues their five-game road trip on Friday against the Kelowna Rockets. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.
