OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals open their final homestand of the season at Rosenblatt Stadium Tuesday night. The 13-game homestand begins with a pair of four-game series vs. Iowa and Albuquerque and concludes with a five-game set vs. Round Rock. These exciting promotions are on tap:
Tuesday, August 14, 7:05 p.m.: It's 2uesday - $22 gets you 2 tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 Cokes and 2 programs!
Wednesday, August 15, 7:05 p.m.: The 1st 100 kids eat FREE, with a pizza courtesy of SUBWAY and ValPak!
Thursday, August 16, 7:05 p.m.: It's Thirsty Thursday! Enjoy $1 beer and Cokes during the game and the live music of Mark Sandford in the Stadium View Club afterwards, courtesy of Miller Lite, 96.1 The Brew and the City Weekly!
Friday, August 17, 7:05 p.m.: It's Werner Enterprises Fireworks Friday, also presented by KETV-Channel 7 and NewsTalk 1110 KFAB! A three-day silent auction begins, with all proceeds going to the Mike Coolbaugh Memorial Fund. The Long Haul Bombers will put on softball home run exhibitions before and after the game! The 1st annual Mascot Olympics also takes place, with two teams led by Casey and Spike squaring off! Plus, it's the annual Girls Scouts Sleepover at Rosenblatt Stadium!
Saturday, August 18, 6:05 p.m.: No Frills Supermarkets presents South Omaha Appreciation Night. Stop by your five South Omaha No Frills locations and pick up Buy-One-Get-One-Free ticket vouchers. It's also your chance to win a used car, courtesy of No Frills Supermarkets, WOWT-Channel 6, 1620 The Zone and LaBonita! The Mike Coolbaugh Memorial Fund silent auction will be open to the general public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. as well as during the game. Come early for the Western Iowa vs. Dodge County All-Star Game at 2:00 p.m.!
Sunday, August 19, 1:35 p.m.: Bergman Incentives presents the 2nd annual Strike Out Breast Cancer Day, featuring a breast cancer survivors parade before the game! Following the contest, stay for a Gospel concert with Ami Rushes and several other artists performing, brought to you by K&T Development! It's also Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting, balloon art and kids invited to run the bases after the game, presented by KGBI 100.7 FM, KPTM-Fox 42 and Just for Kids & Families! The Royals will wear special camouflage jerseys that will be auctioned off to raise money for a military-based charity. There will be static displays and interactive events from area Police, Fire and Military departments, also presented by WOWT-Channel 6 and 1620 The Zone!
Sunday, August 26, 1:35 p.m.: Cox Communications presents Fan Appreciation Day with several prize giveaways for lucky fans!
