Grizzlies Load Up On Fun For Final Homestand Of The Season

Fresno, CA- Only eight home games remain in the Fresno Grizzlies' Tenth Season, and fans could not ask for a bigger lineup of fireworks, food, giveaways, and fun. Beginning Tuesday, August 14th and ending Tuesday, August 21st, the Grizzlies will have something for everyone as they welcome the Tacoma Rainiers and Salt Lake Bees for four games each.
Leading off the final homestand of their historic tenth season, the Grizzlies will host an upgraded Tecate Taco Tuesday (presented by Tecate and 95.7 The Fox) as the usual $2 Tecate beer offer has been extended through the end of the 5th inning and $2 tacos will be available all game. Beat the Heat Tuesday will reward fans for bearing the Fresno heat, as field level seats will be reduced in price by 50 cents for each degree over the century mark should temperatures top 100 degrees.
Wednesday night will be the Fresno Bee's last Season Ten Special, as tickets will be just $1 for kids 12 and under, seniors 55 and over, and military personnel with valid ID. Bundles of three items will be specially marked in the Grizzlies Team Store for just $10. Fans will also be treated to a free loaf of bread as they exit the game in the Sara Lee Great Whole Grain Giveaway. On Thursday, August 16th, the final Thirsty Thursday of the year (presented by 104.1 FM) will offer immensely popular $1 draft beers through the 5th inning and $1 sodas all game long.
On Friday, August 17th, the Grizzlies will head into their final weekend of home play with a dizzying promotional slate. The San Joaquin College of Law will present Friday Night Fireworks following the game, but fans entering the park might not have enough hands for all the free giveaways. Fans will receive Rally Towels thanks to Rally's (limit 1,000), 2008 Magnet Schedules thanks to AIG (limit 2,500), and 3D Collector Cups also presented by San Joaquin College of Law (limit 2,000). The Grizzlies will also kick off Fan Feast Weekend, as a special All-You-Can-Eat Section will be offered. For just $20, fans will receive a game ticket and unlimited quantities of hot dogs, sodas, popcorn, peanuts, and nachos. The Grizzlies Pay for Your Power on Friday as well, as fans bringing their PG&E bill to the ticket office will receive 2 for 1 tickets and one lucky fan will have their entire electricity bill paid by the Grizzlies. If that was not enough, some fans will receive a free Nesquik Milkshake as they leave the ballpark on Friday.
The Fan Feast Weekend and Grizzlies Pay for Your Power continue on Saturday, as both the All-You-Can-Eat Section and electricity bill promotion will be offered on both Friday and Saturday nights. Also on Saturday, the Grizzlies will unveil their All-Decade Team with a commemorative All-Decade Team T-Shirt presented by Scott Brand Products (limit 2,500). The hilarious inflatable mascot entertainers, the Zooperstars, will return to Chukchansi Park on the 18th. The Grizzlies game worn jerseys will be available in a silent auction benefiting the Junior Grizzlies following Saturday's game.
Sunday, August 19th, the first 2,500 fans through the gates will receive 2007 Grizzlies Team Photos courtesy of Chukchansi Gold Resort. Fans can also enjoy 25 Cent Hot Dogs all game long thanks to Evergood Fine Foods, plus Grizzlies players will be available for pregame autographs courtesy of ABC 30, Kids Run the Bases after the game thanks to Del Taco, and all fans will be invited onto the field for a postgame movie on the Chukchansi Park video board. Game time is at 6:05 on Sunday.
The Grizzlies welcome renowned Christian rockers Hawk Nelson on Monday, August 20th for a pregame concert on Faith & Family Night. The Veggie Tales will make a special appearance on a Monday that will also feature the last Wienerschnitzel Monday Madness deal of the year as 2 tickets, 2 hot dogs, and 2 sodas are just $14.
On Tuesday, August 21st the Grizzlies will host their final home game of the 2007 season. Express Jet presents the last Fireworks show of the season and a huge Fan Appreciation Day celebration, in which fans will be randomly selected for great prizes including trips to Las Vegas and a 7 Night Caribbean Cruise. Tuesday will also feature Tecate Taco Tuesday, where 16 oz. Tecate beers will be just $2 through the 5th inning and tacos are $2 all game long.
