Rowe, Boisclair returned to Chiefs

Johnstown, PA (January 25, 2007) - The Johnstown Chiefs on Thursday announced that forwards Randy Rowe and Maxime Boisclair have been assigned to Johnstown from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League, and that forwards Adam Henrich and Andre Deveaux have been reassigned from Johnstown to Springfield.

Now in his second season with the Chiefs, Rowe has appeared in 21 games with Johnstown, recording 10 goals and 19 assists. In 17 games with the Falcons, the Burford, Ont.-native has scored two goals and one assist.

Entering his first professional season, Boisclair recorded consecutive 100-point seasons with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, scoring 108 points (51g, 57a) in 2004-05 and ranking second on the team with 130 points (70g, 60a) in 2005-06. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Boisclair attended training camp with Springfield. In 25 games with the Chiefs this season, Boisclair has scored 11 goals and added 19 assists for a team-leading 30 points. In 17 games with Springfield, he has scored one goal and is -3 with six penalty minutes.

Under contract to the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League, Henrich has scored eight goals and 14 assists in 26 games with Johnstown, and potted one goal in five games with Springfield.

A native of Welland, Ontario, Deveaux has scored 14 points (6g, 8a) in 21 games with Johnstown, and has appeared in six games with Springfield, recording two assists.

The Augusta Lynx will visit the War Memorial on January 27, which will be Froggy95 Family Night! On Sunday, January 28, the Chiefs take on the Dayton Bombers at 3:00 p.m. All fans in attendance will receive a bingo card, giving them a chance to win various prizes, including a season ticket for the 2007-08 season!
