
Wildcatters Host Chili for Charity Cook-off Today

Beaumont, TX (January 26, 2007) The 'Catters are spicing things up as local groups and businesses are competing to see who has the best chili in Southeast Texas. The event begins at noon with cooking outside in the Ford Park parking lot. Judging and tasting is at 5:30 p.m. inside the Ford Park Exhibit Hall. The entry fee was $100 and includes a donation to charity as well as 15 tickets to the game tonight against South Carolina. Fans can come out and taste the chili for free as well purchase tickets for just $10. The winner has his or her choice for which charity to donate to.
The Texas Wildcatters are the ECHL affiliate for the AHL's Houston Aeros. The next Wildcatters home game is on Friday, January 26 vs. the South Carolina Stingrays.
