Round Rock at Albuquerque Suspended Due to Inclement Weather

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico - Tonight's Round Rock Express (51-57) at Albuquerque Isotopes (51-57) contest at Isotopes Park has been suspended in the top of the second inning due to inclement weather in the area.

The two teams will resume the game at 4:30 p.m. CDT on Thursday afternoon with Round Rock leading 3-0.

E-Train 2B Christian Lopes is due up to hit with one out and the bases loaded. Approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the resumption of the nine-inning contest, the regularly scheduled game will begin and will be seven innings in length, per Pacific Coast League doubleheader rules.

Round Rock RHP Richelson Pena (3-2, 4.66) is slated to pick up the resumption of game one while RHP Chris Jensen (1-2, 5.16) will get the start in game two. Albuquerque's pitchers for the doubleheader are yet to be announced.

Friday's series finale in Albuquerque is set for 7:35 p.m. Following a four-game set in El Paso against the Chihuahuas, the Express return home for a four-game showdown with the Omaha Storm Chasers beginning on Thursday, August 9.
