There's No Place Like Home: A win tonight for the Sounds would match last year's win total of 31 at First Tennessee Park. At 30-23, the Sounds are on pace to have their best season at home in the four-year history of the ballpark. The Sounds were 31-38 in 2017, 36-36 in 2016 and 32-40 in 2015 for a grand total of 129-137. Nashville needs seven wins over the final 17 home games to surpass the high of 36 wins at First Tennessee Park in 2016.

Sounds Going Six: Last night's six-inning start by Eric Jokisch was the 42nd time a Sounds starter has gone at least 6.0 innings in 2018. Nashville is 22-20 in those games. Among current starters, Eric Jokisch and James Naile have each gone at least 6.0 innings 10 times, Frankie Montas and Chris Bassitt have each done it three times and Daniel Mengden has done it two times.

That's Clutch: Three of Nashville's five RBI last night were with two outs, with hits coming from Anthony Garcia, Boog Powell and Beau Taylor. As a team, Nashville has 171 two-out RBI on the season. Garcia leads the team with 22 and BJ Boyd is second on the squad with 18.
