Roughriders Set Another Attendance Record on "Full House Night"
June 12, 2015 - Texas League (TL1)
Frisco RoughRiders News Release
FRISCO, TEXAS (JUNE 12, 2015) - The Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, set a new single-game attendance record at Dr Pepper Ballpark on Friday night as 11,927 fans attended the Riders' "Salute To Full House Night" against the San Antonio Missions. Tonight's record attendance surpasses the previous record crowd for a RoughRiders game at Dr Pepper Ballpark of 11,915, which was set on May 8, 2015.
Four of the six largest crowds in franchise history have come this season, specifically within the last seven weeks and 23 home dates. Tickets for Friday for every stadium section, hospitality area, suite, grass berm and standing room location were sold out prior to game day for the second time this season and the second time in team history.
The Riders once again lead all Double-A franchises in attendance, a feat the club has accomplished each season in the past decade.
"This is another spectacular accomplishment and we want to thank our tremendous fans for helping make this record-breaking night so special," said RoughRiders CEO and General Partner Chuck Greenberg. "Full House Night was an unbelievable, original idea and the strong support from our fans ensured its success. We are continuously thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive response we have received this season and look forward to planning more experiences like this for our fans in the future."
As part of the record-breaking "Salute to Full House Night," the RoughRiders wore specially designed jerseys that portray the opening credits scene and logo from Full House. Dave Coulier, who played Joey Gladstone on the show, threw out the ceremonial first pitch and spent time with fans taking photographs and signing autographs. The players' jerseys were auctioned "off their backs," with all proceeds benefiting both the RoughRiders Foundation and Dave Coulier's preferred charity, Pilots N Paws.
Additionally, one (1) lucky fan in attendance won a three-day trip for two (2) to San Francisco. Music from the '90s, skits and a spectacular postgame fireworks show all played a part in this historic feat for the RoughRiders organization.
These are the ten largest crowds in the 13-year history of Dr Pepper Ballpark:
1. 11,927 - June 12, 2015
2. 11,915 - May 8, 2015
3. 11,836 - July 4, 2003
4. 11,666 - August 28, 2010
5. 11,647 - April 25, 2015
6. 11,632 - May 16, 2015
7. 11,609 - September 4, 2009

9. 11,592 - June 19, 2009
