Romine, Noesi Taken Off Temporarily Inactive List

Trenton Thunder News Release


(TRENTON, NJ) The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees announced today that they have placed C Ryan Baker on the disabled list and have activated C Austin Romine and RHP Hector Noesi off the TIA List (temporary inactive).

Romine and Noesi were unavailable due to their participation in Sunday's All-Star Futures Game.

Baker was transferred to the Trenton roster on July 7 and played in one game with the Thunder, going 0-for-1. On the season with Trenton and High-A Tampa, Baker is hitting .083 (3-for-35).

The Thunder open up a four game series tonight at Waterfront Park against The Reading Phillies starting at 7:05 PM. RHP Andrew Brackman makes the start for the Thunder, while Reading will hand the ball to RHP J.C. Ramirez. All the action can be heard live on 107.7 FM or online at www.trentonthunder.com.
