
Rome Receives Marksberry from Lynchburg

The Rome Braves announce that RHP Colby Holmes has been transferred to Danville. In two appearances with Rome, Holmes was 1-0 with a 3.60 ERA. Rome receives LHP Matt Marksberry from Lynchburg who is coming off the disabled list. This season with the Hillcats, Marksberry was 1-0 with an ERA of 10.80 (2 appearances/ 3.1 IP). He is scheduled to start for Rome tonight in Savannah.
The Braves begin a seven game homestand on Wednesday at State Mutual Stadium. For ticket information call 706-378-5144.
