Kelowna Rockets News Release

The Kelowna Rockets have been eagerly watching and hoping for a break in the weather, in hopes of a safe return to Kelowna for Jamie Benn, Tyler Myers and Rockets' Athletic Therapist Jeff Thorburn from Ottawa. The gold medalists have been stuck in Calgary because of the weather conditions here in Kelowna.

Now that the snow has stopped, the Rockets have re-scheduled them to tentatively arrive at the Kelowna International Airport at 9:10 pm.

The Rockets are anticipating all the three guys will be in the line-up tomorrow as they host Team Canada Captain Thomas Hickey and the Seattle Thunderbirds.
