Regina Pats News Release

Ottawa, Ontario - Canada's drive for five was completed Monday night with a dominating 5-1 win over Sweden in the gold medal game. A pair of Regina Pats played key roles with Canada all tournament long:

Jordan Eberle became an overnight sensation with his dramatic game tying goal with 5.4 seconds left in Canada's 6-5 shoot-out win over Russia in the semi-finals. He then topped the night off by scoring the shoot-out winner. In the gold medal game, Eberle notched a goal and a pair of assists and was the tournament's third leading scorer.

Colten Teubert was part of Canada's shut-down defensive pair with captain Thomas Hickey. He showed why he was a first round pick of the Los Angeles Kings in the gold medal game with his dominating physical performance and his play against Sweden's top line.
