Pats Make Deal with Raiders

Regina, Saskatchewan - Regina Pats would like to announce a trade with the Prince Albert Raiders. The Pats have acquired 20 year old forward Matt Robertson from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for 20 year old forward Michael MacAngus and a 4th round pick in the 2009 WHL bantam draft.

This season MacAngus has played all 44 games with the Pats and has 11 goals and 17 assists, and hasn't missed a game since the 06-07 season. He was originally acquired from the Saskatoon Blades on January 10th, 2007 in exchange for Derek Hulak.

Matt Robertson (5'9" 160lbs) is a native of Prince Albert and was fourth in team scoring with 15 goals and 19 assists, with 7 of his markers coming on the power play.

Regina Pats General Manager Brent Parker, "We felt we needed to be quicker and improve our power play and this deal addresses both areas. Michael MacAngus is a tremendous young man and we wish him all off the best in Prince Albert and in his future endeavors."

Robertson will be joining the club today, and will be in the line-up Friday night when the Regina Pats host the Swift Current Broncos it's a 7:00 puck drop at the Brandt Centre.
