New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats of the Eastern League today promoted their top Pitcher - RHP Liam Hendriks - to Triple-A Rochester in the International League. And now he's off to Rochester, NY, to make his Triple-A debut for the RedWings.

The 6'1"/201-pound Aussie has been outstanding for New Britain at the Double-A level this year. In 16 appearances for the 2011 Rock Cats - 15 of them starts - the fifth year pro posted an 8-2 record with a 2.70 ERA. In 90 total innings of work this year, Hendriks surrendered 27 Earned Runs and Struck Out 81 while walking 18. He was recently ranked by Baseball America as the 6th Best Prospect in the entire Minnesota Twins' system.
