ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Red Wings today placed righthander David Bromberg on the 7-Day Disabled List with right shoulder tendinitis.

Bromberg made two starts with the Red Wings after being promoted from Double-A New Britain May 27, going 0-2 with 5.40 ERA. He last pitched Saturday in the second game of a doubleheader vs. Columbus (Indians), allowing one run on three hits and three walks while striking out five in 3.0 innings.

The 24-year-old went 1-1 with a 3.53 ERA in 11 games (six starts) with New Britain prior to his promotion. He was selected by the Twins in the 32nd round of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft.
