TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons face the Toledo Mud Hens in the finale of a four-game series at Fifth Third Field (7:00 p.m.). With their 5-3 win yesterday, the Herd can earn a split of the series with a victory today. Tomorrow, Buffalo will start a four-game set in Columbus. The Bisons are 15-14 in road games this season.

vs. HENS: The Bisons are 1-2 against Toledo this season. Buffalo's 5-3 win yesterday was just the second in their last 15 games played at Fifth Third Field. Toledo visits Coca-Cola Field from July 16-19.

MEJIA: RHP JENRRY MEJIA makes his second start of the season today. The righty made his 2012 Bisons debut last Wednesday and allowed just two runs in six innings of work. It was Mejia's first Triple-A start since having "˜Tommy John' surgery in May of 2011. The righty was 1-2 with a 2.86ERA in five starts with the Bisons last year before the injury.

MLB REHAB: INF RUBEN TEJADA joins the Bisons today on an MLB injury rehabilitation assignment. The Mets placed Tejada on the disabled list on May 27 with a right quad strain. He hit .305 (32-105) with 10 doubles and eight RBI in 27 games with the Mets this season. Tejada played in 119 games with the Bisons over parts of 2010 and 2011.

SO, SO GOOD: OF MATT TUIASOSOPO hit the Bisons' second grand slam of the season in yesterday's game (OF Adam Loewen, 4/15). The slugger now has 17RBI in his last 18 contests and is second on the club with 30RBI on the season. Since May 4, Tuiasosopo is hitting .311 (32-103) with six doubles and five home runs in 30 games.

ACOSTA: RHP MANNY ACOSTA joined the Bisons yesterday. He has made 48 appearances with the Bisons over the past two years, with a combined 3-3 record, nine saves and a 2.86ERA (56.2IP, 63K). Acosta was designated for assignment by the Mets on May 29.

BISONS BITS: RHP FERNANDO CABRERA is 12-for-12 in save opportunities this year. The 12 saves are tied for the league lead...The Mets have announced that Bisons RHP CHRIS YOUNG will start for New York tomorrow in Washington. Young threw six shutout innings on May 31 for the Herd.

METS UPDATE : The Mets (31-24) could not complete the four-game sweep of the Cardinals as they lost to St. Louis today, 5-4. OF SCOTT HAIRSTON had a pinch hit two-run home run in defeat. Former Bisons RHP DILLON GEE struck out eight in a seven-inning no-decision. The Mets travel to Washington on Tuesday for a 7:05 p.m. start.
