Radio: Fox Sports 1280/iHeartRadio | TV: MiLB.tv

LHP Ken Waldichuk (2-3, 3.48) vs. RHP Franklyn Kilome (1-1, 4.15)

I'M A LITTLE 'STITIOUS: The Rochester Red Wings dropped their 10th-straight game, 7-4, to the RailRiders last night...RHP Will Harris surrendered a solo shot in his outing which came via an ML-Rehab assignment...RHP Patrick Murphy, LHP Francisco Perez, RHP Curtis Taylor, LHP Luis Avilan, and LHP Carson Teel came on in relief and allowed six runs (two earned) on two hits, both homers, with four of those runs coming with Murphy on the hill...Rochester's offense produced just five knocks with OF Donovan Casey logging the sole multi-hit performance...RHP Franklyn Kilome will get the nod today for the Wings who will be opposed by RailRiders LHP Ken Waldichuk.

MAMA ROC ME: Rochester has now lost 10 games in a row for the first time since the team lost 11 straight last year (Aug 31 - Sep 11, 2021) ...the Wings have lost eight consecutive games to Scranton after starting the year 7-3 against the Yankees' top affiliate, with the baby bombers slugging 10 homers in this series alone...the Wings' current losing streak is the longest in the International League this season.

THE RIGHT FIT: RF Donovan Casey went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles in last night's contest...the New Jersey native's single in the third inning extended his hitting streak to four games, tying his most consecutive games with a knock this season (4/6-10 vs. TOL)...Casey is 7-for-16 (.438) in the series versus Scranton, and his seven knocks are his most in a series this season...he was the only Wing with multiple hits in yesterday's contest.

The Boston College alum is batting .289 (37-for-128) with five home runs and 17 RBI in right field (35 games)...in 25 games at other positions (DH, CF, LF), Casey is 12-for-82 (.146) with one home run and five RBI.

He now has 14 multi-hit games this season with 11 coming when he is in right field.

BRING EM' HOME: Joey Meneses' RBI in the sixth inning extended his RBI-streak to five games (eight RBI over the stretch), the second longest active streak in the International League...the Mexico-native currently has 64 RBI, which ranks fifth in the IL.

Meneses' 44-game errorless streak came to an end yesterday when he allowed Scranton's Tyler Wade to reach first in the third inning...Meneses hadn't recorded an error since May 15 at Worcester.

STREAKER HEAD: LF Josh Palacios went 1-for-4 with a single in the ninth inning (eight-pitch AB) to extend his hitting streak to an International League-best 18 games (prev high: Nolan Gorman MEM, 16)...Palacios' 18-game hitting streak passes former Red Wing Zack Granite who had a 17-game hit streak in 2017...the former Auburn Tiger also extended his on-base streak to 31 games, the second-longest in the IL this season qadn the longest on the Wings squad since former Red Wing Drew Maggi reached base in 39 games in 2019 (6/21-8/9/2019).

HOT-ICE: Yesterday's single in the ninth inning ended CF Andrew Stevenson's 0-for-22 streak...despite the slump, the lefty is just one hit away from becoming the seventh player in the International League to reach the 100-hit mark...with three more hits, the former LSU Tiger would surpass his Triple-A career season-high in knocks (101 in 2019 w/ FRE).

FRANKLY, MY DEAR: Against Scranton on Tuesday, RHP Franklyn Kilome gave up four earned runs over three innings of work...three of the four runs allowed were via home runs.

In seven career starts at Triple-A (five w/ SYR), the righty has a 1.82 ERA in five starts where he has not allowed a homer (5 ER/24.2 IP) and has given up 10 earned runs in two starts where he has allowed a blast (8.2 IP)...the RailRiders have 10 home runs in five games this series.
