Boise, ID (3/25/13) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Monday that goaltender Josh Robinson has been recalled from the Idaho Steelheads by the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.

Idaho (ECHL) and Texas (AHL) are the primary development affiliates of the NHL's Dallas Stars.

The 23-year-old Robinson is among the ECHL's leaders in wins (27), shutouts (5) and save percentage (.925). This is the second time that Robinson, a rookie out of Michigan Tech, has been recalled to Texas but he hasn't appeared in an AHL game yet. The AHL is the highest level of minor-league hockey in North America.

Idaho (43-19-7) has three games left in the regular season - all on the road, beginning Wednesday at San Francisco - before opening up the ECHL's Kelly Cup playoffs at home on Wednesday, April 3, against an opponent yet to be determined.
