Bulls Edged by Condors, 2-1

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Nick Czinder scored for the second straight game, but the San Francisco Bulls (24-37-1-7) were defeated by the Bakersfield Condors (22-43-2-3), 2-1, Sunday night at Rabobank Arena.

After a scoreless first period, Bakersfield struck twice in the span of 2:58 in the second period. Nicholas Tremblay scored at 6:48, followed by Kyle Haines at 9:46. Czinder scored his second career goal with 6:29 remaining in the second period to cut it to a 2-1 game. Assists were awarded to Tommy Grant and Brett Findlay, who recorded his first pro point.

In the third period, the Bulls took 11 shots, but could not score again on Brian Stewart, who earned the victory. The Bulls have three games remaining in the regular season. Wednesday and Friday the Bulls are home to face the Idaho Steelheads. Wednesday in Singles Night and Friday is Fan Appreciation Night.

Today, the Bulls announced their home playoff schedule for their Western Conference Quarterfinals matchup against the Alaska Aces. After Games 1 and 2 are played in Alaska, the Bulls return home on Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12 for Games 3 and 4. Game 5, if necessary will be at the Cow Palace on Saturday, April 13. Games 6 and 7 will be in Alaska, if necessary.
