Belan's Back with the Bulls; Grant Reassigned to Worcester

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that forward Kris Belan has been returned to the Bulls from the Manchester Monarchs. In addition, the Sharks reassigned forward Tommy Grant to the Worcester Sharks.

Belan, 26, played in eight games with Manchester in his first AHL call-up, recorded one assist and seven penalty minutes, including a fight. The Florence, Ontario native led the Bulls with 130 penalty minutes at the time of his call-up. In 55 games, Belan has recorded 20 points (8 goals, 12 assists) with the Bulls.

Grant, 26, collected five points (1 goal, 4 assists) in four games with the Bulls. The North Vancouver native also has 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) in 48 AHL games this season with the Connecticut Whale and Worcester.

The Bulls complete their home regular season schedule on Wednesday and Friday against the Idaho Steelheads. Wednesday marks Singles Night and Friday is Fan Appreciation Night. Puck drops at 7:15 pm for both games. Call 855-SF-BULLS for tickets.
