Saturday is the final meeting of the regular season between the Thunder and Idaho Steelheads, closing Stockton's regular season schedule at home. The Thunder is 2-2-0 against Idaho this season and defeated the Steelheads in the last meeting, 3-2 at Stockton Arena on Feb. 2. Ending the regular season before possibly a large crowd at home on "Fan Appreciation Night," the Thunder is in the middle of a stretch where they will play one game in 12 days, concluding with the opening round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Idaho enters the week off a 5-0 loss to Ontario.

WEEK IN REVIEW

STK 4 - SF 1 (3/23/13): Rookie Andrew Clark, playing in just his third professional game, collected a hat trick and goaltender Olivier Roy made 28 saves to lift the Stockton Thunder (36-26-9, 81 points) to a 4-1 victory over the San Francisco Bulls at the Cow Palace on Saturday. The Thunder, who clinched home ice advantage after Colorado lost to Alaska, finished the regular season road schedule at 15-15-6 and beat San Francisco in the season series with a 7-5-1 mark.

STK 2 - SF 1 (SO) (3/22/13): Veteran Shawn Weller scored his 12th goal with 0.1 seconds left in regulation for a game tying marker and earned the winner in the fifth round to lift the Stockton Thunder (35-26-9, 79 points) to a heart stopping 2-1 comeback shootout win before 4,027 fans at the Cow Palace on Friday. The Thunder, who had just 12 shots through the first 40 minutes, came back with a 17 shot effort in the third period and posted its third come-from-behind victory when trailing after two periods this season. Goaltender Olivier Roy made 37 saves for the win and stopped four of five bids in the shootout.
