Rob Musgrave Promoted To Triple-A, Solis Re-Joins Missions

San Antonio - Missions left-handed pitcher Rob Musgrave has been promoted to the Triple-A Tucson Padres and will join the team today in Salt Lake City.

Musgrave was 7-2 with a 3.30 ERA in 23 games (12 starts). In 79.0 innings, he allowed 77 hits, 31 runs (29 earned) while walking 25, striking out 65 and holding opponents to a .258 average. He was second on the Missions staff in wins and he had the Texas League's third-lowest ERA in July (2.25).

The 25-year old native of Carbondale, KS has made two previous starts for Tucson this season, going 0-0 with a 7.00 ERA in nine innings.

Catcher Ali Solis has been sent from Triple-A to San Antonio and will re-join the Missions today. Solis began the 2011 season in San Antonio and hit .285 (55-for-193) in 54 games. He had 11 doubles, one triple, three home runs, 20 RBI, scored 22 runs and was the starting catcher for the South in this year's Texas League All-Star Game.

The 23-year old native of Mexicali, Mexico was promoted to Triple-A on July 14 and appeared in 11 games for Tucson and hit .211 (8-for-38) with two doubles, three RBI and three runs scored.
