The San Antonio Missions salvaged a split with the RoughRiders by walking off with a 2-1, 11-inning victory Monday night at Nelson Wolff Municipal Stadium.

Frisco (60-47, 20-17) and San Antonio not only did not score from the fourth to the tenth, but they did not get a runner to second base in those seven innings. In the top of the 11th, the 'Riders stranded a runner at second base. In the home half, the Missions (71-36, 22-15) loaded the bases with two outs against Tanner Scheppers (2-1). Ahead in the count 0-2 against Sawyer Carroll, Scheppers balked home the winning run.

Both starters worked deep into the contest. Frisco left-hander Ben Snydersurrendered one run one five hits in a season-high seven innings. Snyder struck out four and allowed only two runners to reach second base.

San Antonio starter Casey Kelly gave up one run, which was unearned, on five hits. Kelly, the Padres' top prospect, had to settle for a no-decision like Snyder.

The RoughRiders took an early 1-0 lead in the second when Jonathan Greenesingled in Mike Bianucci for his 60th RBI of the year. San Antonio knotted the score in the third when Dean Anna scored on a double play.

Frisco missed out on a chance to earn a share of first place with San Antonio in the South, but the 'Riders only trail the Missions by two games in the second half standings.

The RoughRiders continue their road trip with a three-game series at Midland beginning Tuesday night at 6:30. Carlos Pimentel (4-7, 5.06 ERA) will start for the 'Riders against fellow right-hander Shawn Haviland (4-9, 7.42 ERA). Pre-game coverage along the RoughRiders Baseball Network begins at 6:00.
