Rob Kwiet Assigned To Reading

Reading Royals News Release


Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Rob Kwiet ["KWIT"] has been assigned from the Providence Bruins of the AHL to the Royals. Kwiet, a first year pro from Toronto, Ontario, was previously assigned to Reading on November 25, 2009, and registered three assists and four penalty minutes in seven games with the Royals before being recalled to Providence on December 17. In sixteen AHL games with the Bruins this season, Kwiet has picked up ten penalty minutes.

The Royals return to action tonight (Saturday, December 26 @ 7:35 pm) when the team travels to First Arena in Elmira New York to take on the Jackals for the third consecutive game. Reading's game night broadcast on Saturday on the Royals Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast will kick off at 7:05 pm.
