ROANOKE VA â The following is a list of upcoming community events that will be attended by members of the Roanoke Express.
Wednesday, March 31, 2004 â From 5-7 p.m. Express players will be appearing at the Roanoke YMCA to sign autographs for members.
Thursday, April 1, 2004 â From 1-2 p.m. Express player David Silverstone will be appearing at Woodrow Wilson Middle School to speak with the 6th grade gym class about good sportsmanship in sports. After speaking with the kids, Silverstone will sign autographs for them.
The Express wraps up the 2003-04 regular season this weekend, when it hosts the Charlotte Checkers on Friday and the Greenville Grrrowl on Saturday at the Roanoke Civic Center. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m. For group ticket information, please contact the Express office at (540) 343-4500.
