Tucson Roadrunners News Release
TUCSON, AZ - The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, shared today that the club will be special guests at Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild's Tree Lighting Ceremony this Friday.
Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, the Tucson community will come together at Jácome Plaza (101 N. Stone Ave. in Tucson) to celebrate "turning on the lights this holiday season" with Downtown Tucson at the Desert Nights Downtown Lights, powered by Pima County.
Dusty, the Roadrunners official mascot, will be on stage from 5:00-6:30 p.m. with Mayor Jonathan Rothschild during his opening remarks and will also "assist" in lighting the tree with Santa Claus.

One of the largest holiday celebrations in Tucson, all are invited to rejoin Mayor Rothschild on Saturday, December 15 at Jácome Plaza for the Parade of Lights & Festival. The Roadrunners will be providing 35 tons of snow for the event!
On-The-Ice
The Tucson Roadrunners take on the Stockton Heat again tonight at 7:05 p.m. within Tucson Arena. The club will look to improve their current standing of second in the Pacific Division, trailing only the San Jose Barracuda. Third-year Roadrunner and goaltender Adin Hill returned to the active lineup last night following an injury that kept him out of the lineup for three weeks.
Tip-A-Roadrunner
Join us for the inaugural "Tip-A-Roadrunner" dinner event at Brother John's Beer, Bourbon & BBQ on Wednesday, November 28! The entire Roadrunners roster will be present and serve as celebrity waiters for fans attending the event and entertaining as they work for tips that will be benefitting Roadrunners Give Back, a branch of the Arizona Coyotes Foundation, who seek to enhance the quality of life throughout Southern Arizona communities by supporting non-profit organizations that promote healthcare, education and cultural arts programs for children and service men and women.
