TONIGHT

Stockton is fresh off of last night's 8-2 dismantling of the Tucson Roadrunners. The Heat scored a season-high eight goals en route to extending the team's season-long win streak to four games. Alan Quine led the way for Stockton with five points, including his second career hat trick. Kerby Rychel's big night was lost in the shuffle behind Alan Quine's play, but the winger was phenomenal last night, recording a goal and three assists in the win. Following last night's win Stockton and Tucson each have 19 points, tied for second most in the Pacific Division.

Today, however is a new day and that message was echoed last night from Heat Head Coach Cail MacLean following last night's victory. The Heat expect a hungry Tucson team as Stockton looks to hand the Roadrunners their third consecutive loss.

Of course, you can watch all the action on AHLTV all season long and be sure to download the new Stockton Heat App and check out the VipR camera as well for a unique and interactive experience!

Or, you can head over to Channel Brewing Co. in Downtown Stockton as the brew pub will be serving up delicious craft beer and pizzas with the Heat on their TV's at 110 N. San Joaquin Street!

WHO TO WATCH

Kerby Rychel quietly leads the team with eight goals and the winger had his best game in a Stockton Heat uniform last night, notching a goal and three assists. Through 17 games, the former first round pick has eight goals and six assists. Stockton's top line of Rychel, Quine and Foo continues to produce in a big way for the Heat and last night was another prime example of their potential. Quine, Foo and Rychel combined for 10 points and a +9 rating. That line's combination of speed and strength has been a matchup problem over the last two games against Tucson.

PENALTY KILL

The Heat penalty kill ranked last in the AHL just over a week ago and now is in the middle third of the league after killing off 21 of the last 22 power play chances against, including 17 straight kills over the last four games. Stockton has stifled Tucson's man advantage over the last two games vs. the Roadrunners, holding them scoreless on eleven attempts. Tucson's power play ranks 29th in the AHL, operating at just 11.3%. Shutting down Tucson's struggling man-advantage will be crucial to try and earn a second consecutive road win against one of the top team's in the Pacific division.

SCHNEIDS MAKING MOST OF OPPORTUNITY

Another One! 21-year-old goaltender Nick Schneider continues to backstop the Heat to victories. With injuries to both Jon Gillies and Tyler Parsons, Nick Schneider has played in four straight games, earning the victory in each performance. Over the last two games against Tucson, Schneider has allowed just three goals on 68 shots. In his five games this season, Schneider is 4-0 with a 1.36 GAA and .956 SV%.

KYLINGTON ON A ROLL

Oliver Kylington is a man on a mission this season in the offensive zone. The swift skating defenseman has always been known for his offensive abilities, but the fourth year rearguard is clearly taking his game to new heights. Kylington scored again on Tuesday night, giving the blueliner seven goals in the first 17 games. His seven goals ties his mark from just a season ago in 62 games. Kylington's first period goal last night extended his point streak to four games and he quietly has seven points in the last six games. His seven goals is tied for second in the AHL and his points rank eighth in the league amongst defenseman.

HATTY FOR QUINER

Alan Quine added to the Heat record books on Tuesday night. He became the sixth player all time for Stockton to record a hat trick and the first player in the club's history to record five points in a game. The five points was also a career high for Quine, but it was the center's second career hat trick. Quine scored a goal in each period last night, including the eventual game winner at the end of the first period.

INTERESTING FACT

Stockton set a new franchise record for goals scored in a single game last night with eight. The team famously scored seven goals in the inaugural game of the club's history in a 7-0 win over the Rockford Ice Hogs.
