Roadrunners continue six-game homestand

The Toronto Roadrunners (34-29-8-3) continue their six-game homestand this week as they play three games in four nights. The Roadrunners begin the week on Thursday, April 1 when the St. John's Maple Leafs make their final visit to the Ricoh Coliseum (7:00 p.m.). Toronto then battles the Cleveland Barons on Friday, April 2 (7:00 p.m.), before finishing the week against Grand Rapids Griffins on Sunday, April 4 (5:00 p.m.)

Toronto played four games last week, recording two wins and two losses. Toronto defeated Milwaukee 2-1 on Wednesday and beat Hamilton 3-0 on Saturday. The Roadrunners were defeated by Cleveland 5-2 on Friday and lost to Hamilton 3-0 on Sunday.

Hinz Plays 300th Career AHL Game

Forward Chad Hinz played in his 300th career regular season AHL game on Wednesday, March 24. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native had one goal and one assist as Toronto defeated Milwaukee 2-1.

Bishai earning assists

Forward Mike Bishai, who has 12 assists in his last nine games, has assisted on six of the last seven goals scored by teammate Jamie Wright.

Morrison records third shutout of the season

In his first start since February 25, goaltender Michael Morrison stopped all 21 shots he faced as Toronto defeated Hamilton 3-0 on Saturday, March 27. It was the third shutout of the season for Morrison, and the eighth for the Roadrunners.

Wright scores quickest opening goal of season

Jamie Wright's goal just 37 seconds into the game on Saturday, March 27 (3-0 win over Hamilton), marked the fastest opening goal by the Roadrunners this season. It was the eighth time that Wright has opened the scoring this season, which is a team high.
