
Bulldogs play final two regular season home games this weekend

The Hamilton Bulldogs will look to build upon their six-game home-unbeaten streak this weekend, as they will play their final two home regular season games against North Division opponents. The Bulldogs will host the Cleveland Barons on Saturday, April 3rd (7:00 p.m) and then wrap up the home portion of the schedule versus the Rochester Americans on Sunday, April 4 (4:00 p.m.).
Prior to this weekend's home stand the Bulldogs will travel to Milwaukee on Thursday, April 1 (8:00 p.m.) to face the Admirals at the Bradley Center. The Admirals are currently first overall in the AHL with 96 points.
The Bulldogs currently lead the AHL's North Division with 90 points on a record of 38 wins, 23 losses, 10 ties and 4 overtime losses.

Hamilton set a new franchise attendance record for a regular season home game on Friday, as 15,119 fans attended the 'Heroes of Hometown Hockey' night, when the Bulldogs defeated the St. John's Maple Leafs 4-2 at Copps Coliseum ... The Bulldogs reached the 90-point mark on Sunday for the fourth time in eight seasons in Hamilton ... the Bulldogs are tied with Rochester for most home-ice wins this season with 23 ... the Bulldogs are rated 10th in the AHL, both on the power play (15.7%, 56 for 356) and on the penalty kill (86.5%, 296 for 342) ... Hamilton has out shot their opponents in 56 of 75 games this season and have earned a record of (33-14-7-2)

Tomas Plekanec - tallied his 100th AHL point with an assist on the opening goal versus St. John's Mar. 26 (4-2 W)

Jean-Philippe Cote - is tied for second among AHL rookies in plus/minus (+23)
Alexander Perezhogin - is currently sixth in AHL rookie scoring with 45 points (20-25-45)
Chris Higgins - is currently seventh in AHL rookie scoring with 43 points (21-22-43)
Rene Vydareny - picked up his first AHL point with an assist vs. St. John's on Friday.
Patrick Traverse - earned 4 assists in his past five games
