Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the organization will host the Fourth Annual Road Warriors' Expedition To Elmira presented by Classic Harley-Davidson on Saturday, February 26, 2011, when the Royals will take on the Elmira Jackals at First Arena in Elmira, New York (7:35 pm). The Road Warriors will begin loosening things up that day with a pre-game tail-gate party hosted by Classic Harley-Davidson (983 James Drive, Leesport, Pennsylvania; 610-916-7777; www.classicharley.com) at their sister-facility, American Twin Harley-Davidson in Painted Post, New York. Food, beverages and just enough 'ra-ra' will be provided at the tail-gate party to get the Road Warriors going for game time.
The luxurious buses provided by Carl Bieber Tourways will depart from the Classic-Harley Davidson parking lot in Leesport at 12:00 noon and travel directly to American Twin Harley-Davidson in Painted Post for the pre-game tail-gate party. The buses will leave American Twin Harley-Davidson at 6 pm in order to get to First Arena in Elmira in time for pre-game warm-up.
All fans are welcome to become a Road Warrior for just $40.00, which covers round-trip bus transportation to and from Reading and First Arena in Elmira, New York, a ticket to the game that night, and the complimentary pre-game tailgate party at American Twin Harley-Davidson in Painted Post. There will only be two buses for this trip, so space is strictly limited. Please note that alcoholic beverages will be allowed (although not served) on both buses for the Fourth Annual Road Warriors Expedition to Elmira. Road Warriors are permitted to bring a lap-size cooler. Reservations must be made by February 17, 2011, and can be secured with a credit card by calling Heather Hefty (610-898-7213); with cash or checks at the Royals office (645 Penn Street, 3rd Floor); or by registering on-line at www.royalshockeyevents.com/warriors.
The Royals take on the Florida Everblades in the second of a three game set on Friday (January 21 @ 7:30 pm). The Royals game day broadcast will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by The Works at Wyomissing on the Royals Broadcast Network (WRAW 1340 am in Reading, www.1340wraw.com) at 7:00 pm.
