ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL ‚¬â„¢s Los Angeles Kings, shut out the Bakersfield Condors, 1-0, before 4,627 fans at Citizens Business Bank Arena Wednesday night. Beau Erickson turned aside every Bakersfield opportunity, including a breakaway and several outnumbered attacks in the third period, as he guided the Reign to its third win in four games.

After a scoreless first period, Michael Pelech broke the stalemate just 47 seconds into the second frame. Pelech took a feed from Brett O ‚¬â„¢Malley behind the net and scored on a backhand wrap-around for the only goal the Reign needed.

Erickson stopped all 27 shots he faced for the win, while Brian Stewart suffered the loss after saving 24 of 25 shots.

Tonight ‚¬â„¢s three stars were:

1) ONT - Beau Erickson
