
Road Warriors Advance to Conference Semi-Finals

Greenville, SC: Today the Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, announced the team's round two schedule for the 2014 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
The Road Warriors Drive for the Kelly Cup is presented by the Greenville News and the second round begins on Saturday at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia at 7 p.m. in a best-of-seven series. The format will include a "two-three-two" style series with the Nailers home-ice advantage bringing four potential games to Wheeling. The Nailers swept the South Carolina Stingrays 4-0 in round one and have been idle since Friday, April 25. Greenville clinched the series with a 3-1 win in Kalamazoo on Tuesday night. The Road Warriors last post season series versus Wheeling was in the 2011 playoffs when the Nailers beat the Road Warriors in overtime during Game 7. The schedule for the Road Warriors 2014 second round is as follows:
#6 Wheeling Nailers (4-0) vs. #7 Greenville Road Warriors (4-2)
Game 1 - Saturday, May 3 at 7 p.m. at Wheeling
Game 2 - Sunday, May 4 at 6 p.m. at Wheeling
Game 3 - Tuesday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at Greenville
Game 4 - Thursday, May 8 at 7 p.m. at Greenville
Game 5 - Friday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at Greenville (If Necessary)
Game 6 - Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m. at Wheeling (If Necessary)
Game 7 - Wednesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at Wheeling (If Necessary)
Single game tickets to the second round of the 2014 ECHL Playoff are on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena Box Office starting at just $12! The Road Warriors first home game of the second round will be played on Tuesday, May 6 and Game 4 of the series will be played on Thursday, May 8. If necessary, Game 5 will be played at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on Friday, May 9. Group tickets for 15 or more people can be purchased for as low as $9 in the Green Section!
