THE MATCH UP

The RiverKings close a string of seven consecutive road game tonight. They are 4-2-0 in the first six games. The RiverKings have won each of the first three meetings in their nine game season series with the Oilers. Two of the games have been decided in shootouts, the other in overtime. The RiverKings have won three straight overall after a 5-2 victory at Oklahoma City last night and are 8-2-0 in their last 10 games. The RiverKings hold a six point lead in the Northeast Division while the Oilers sit in fourth place 15 points back. Since a six game winning streak in November and early December, the Oilers have gone 2-6-2 and are coming back home after falling 5-1 at Bossier-Shreveport last night. The RiverKings are 53-49-6 in the all-time series, 23-29-3 in Tulsa.
