
River Cats Come From Behind, Defeat Beavers in 10

West Sacramento, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats came from behind to defeat the Portland Beavers, 12-11, in 10-innings at Raley Field on Thursday night. Trailing, 11-5, entering the bottom of the ninth, the River Cats scored six times to tie the game and send it to extra frames. Jason Perry's 3-run home run to center field, his second of the night, capped the comeback and tied the score. The next inning, Scott McClain's bases-loaded sacrifice fly scored Doug Clark to give the River Cats the victory. Perry 3-for-5 with 5 RBI on the night, and every River Cats position player had at least one hit. Ron Flores earned the win in relief for Sacramento, pitching 2/3 scoreless innings to close out the game.
