Rippers Sign U of Michigan Standout

LONDON, ONTARIO - The London Rippers have signed right-handed pitcher, Brandon Sinnery.

The Framingham, Massachusetts native has spent the last four seasons pitching for the University of Michigan.

While with the Wolverines, the 22 year old put up a 13-12 record with a sparkling 3.98 ERA in 64 games (34 starts).

He threw one shutout in each of the last two seasons and had 7 complete games in his career.

Sinnery's best ERA came in 2011, when he pos ted a 2.91 earned run average.

His college career walk-to-strikeout ratio was just over 2-to-1 (164 strikeouts/80 walks).

The signing puts London's roster at 24.
