
Rascals Release "Arch Nemesis" to Begin Six-Game Home Stand

O'Fallon, Mo - The River City Rascals, presented by Signature Medical Group, begin a six-game home stand Wednesday starting at 1:00 with a press conference to reveal the Arch Nemesis to the public for the first time as the Gateway Grizzlies visit T.R. Hughes Ballpark.
The ultimate "burgandwich", the Arch Nemesis features a three ounce grilled teriyaki chicken breast sandwiched between two quarter-pound 100% all-beef hamburger patties, seasoned in Riley's All Purpose Seasoning with two slices of white and two slices of yellow American cheese on a toasted hamburger bun and will be offered for just six dollars when the gates open that night.
Wednesday also offers dollar hotdogs before the Rascals begin another Thirsty Thursday the following night with dollar beverages throughout the ballpark.
Friday night is packed with events, featuring a pint glass giveaway sponsored by Budweiser. Friday night is also Mercy Bicycle Helmet Fitting Night. 150 helmets will be given away and properly fitted on kids. The first 500 fans will receive coupons for Sundrop at any local convenience store.
Saturday night is Star Wars Night with the Normal CornBelters in town. 501 st Legion Company will be on hand taking picture with fans and doing on-field promotions, all sponsored by Slackers.
St. Louis Cardinals' mascot Fredbird will be at the park on Sunday which is another Charter Family Four Pack Sunday that features four tickets, four sodas, and four hotdogs for $40.00.
Monday first pitch is set for 11am as T.R. Hughes Ballpark is turned into a T.R. Hughes Water Park for the annual River City Super Splash Day. Chill at the ballpark with plenty of water games to keep you cool on a hot summer afternoon.
The six-game home stand starts Wednesday, June 20th. The afternoon press conference will feature the unveiling of the Arch Nemesis, a chance to visit with Riley's seasoning founder/owner David Riley, and meet Arch Nemesis inventor Alex Funkhouser.
