
Riley Heidt Returned to Cougars by Minnesota Wild

PRINCE GEORGE - The Minnesota Wild announced today that forward Riley Heidt has been returned to the Prince George Cougars for the 2023-2024 season.
Heidt, 18, was selected in the 2nd round, 64th overall by the Wild in the 2023 NHL Draft in Nashville. Heidt suited up for the Wild in their first preseason game and collected two assists. It is expected that the Saskatoon, SK product will be in the Cougars' lineup when they visit the Victoria Royals on Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th.
Koehn Ziemmer (Los Angeles) and Ty Young (Vancouver) remain at their NHL camps.
Prince George returns to home ice for a five-game home-stand beginning Tuesday, October 3rd against the Kelowna Rockets.
