
Riders Celebrate Penultimate Homestand August 25-28

FRISCO, TEXAS (AUGUST 21, 2015) - The Frisco RoughRiders begin a four-game homestand at Dr Pepper Ballpark against the San Antonio Missions (San Diego Padres) on Tuesday, August 25 and continuing through Friday, August 28. The Riders will host four straight nights of fun, affordable family entertainment, unique ballpark promotions, tasty food and beverage options, and the future stars of the Texas Rangers in action. All four games are scheduled for the Riders' standard 7:05 p.m. start time.
On Wednesday, August 26, the RoughRiders will host Bark in the Park Night, where fans will have the opportunity to bring their dog to the ballpark! For additional information, visit ridersbaseball.com/barkinthepark.
Highlighting the promotional slate will be another Taco Tuesday (Aug. 25), Thirsty Thursday (Aug. 27), and a spectacular fireworks show plus renowned dancing bat boy, Breakin' B-Boy McCoy (Aug. 28).
Below is the day-by-day rundown of the promotional activities for the August 25-28 home stand.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 25 (7:05 p.m. vs. San Antonio)
- Taco Tuesday - $2 tacos available at concession stands all game long, plus select $3 beers and 1/2 price margaritas from 6-8 p.m.
- Kids Run the Bases following the game
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26 (7:05 p.m. vs. San Antonio)
- Wiener Wednesdays - $1 hot dogs all game long
- Bark in the Park Night - Dogs are invited to attend the game with their owner and can roam the concourse areas of the ballpark and sit in the outfield grass berm. The first 500 dogs will receive a free RoughRiders Dog Bowl. Fans can enjoy dog-themed entertainment all night long.
- Pre-Game Pooch Parade where fans can take their dogs on to the warning tracks
- Dogs Run the Bases following the game
THURSDAY, AUGUST 27 (7:05 p.m. vs. San Antonio)
- Thirsty Thursday - Fans 21-and-over can enjoy $1 domestic and $2 import draft beers from 6-8 p.m. Dr Pepper fountain sodas are also offered for just $1
- Dr Pepper 4 for 44 Night - This special package includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 Dr Peppers for only $44.
- "Groovy Grubesday" - DFW social media legend Michael Gruber (a.k.a. Grubes) will serve as the night's "Ambassador of Fun" and his legion of over 30,000 Twitter followers will receive special incentives and experiences during Thursday home games

FRIDAY, AUGUST 28 (7:05 p.m. vs. San Antonio)
- Breakin' B-Boy McCoy - A unique, one of a kind show that will capture your attention from the first performance until the end of the game. The renowned break dancing bat boy pays a visit to Dr Pepper Ballpark.
