TONIGHT: The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Bowie Baysox will meet in the finale of a three-game series...Following a one hour and 22 minute rain delay, the Flying Squirrels dropped their fourth straight game, falling to the Baysox 3-2 in game two of the series on Wednesday night in front of 2,490 fans at Prince George's Stadium.

LOSING GROUND: The Flying Squirrels have matched their longest losing streak of the season and the club has also equaled its low-water mark of the season dropping four games under .500 at 24-28...The last time the club dropped four straight games was 4/17-4/20...It's the first time Richmond is four games under .500 since losing Game One of a doubleheader 5/5 at New Britain to fall to 11-15...Entering last night's game, the Flying Squirrels had fallen to three games under .500 six times since 5/5 and the club was able to win its next game each of those occasions.

BAY SOCKED: The Flying Squirrels have managed just three hits and the club is batting .052 (3-for-58) through the first two games of the three-game series in Bowie...Richmond is 1-7 at Prince George's Stadium and 4-10 overall against the Baysox this season...The club is batting .223 through its first 53 games, the lowest batting average in all of professional affiliated baseball (MLB & MiLB)...Advanced-A Kinston and Low-A Clinton are tied for the second-lowest batting averages at .226.

ERROR ALERT: The Flying Squirrels have committed an error in each of their last 10 games, the longest streak of games with an error on the season for the club...Richmond has committed 21 errors over its last 10 games including a season-high four errors 5/23 against Erie...The 21 errors have led to 10 unearned runs...The Flying Squirrels are tied for the fourth-lowest fielding percentage (.975) in the Eastern League and the team has committed 47 errors on the season, third-most in the league...Overall, the club has allowed 32 unearned runs on the season.

PITCHING IN: The Flying Squirrels pitching staff leads the Eastern League with a 2.79 ERA through 52 games, the only staff with a sub-three ERA...Richmond's 2.79 staff ERA is the third-lowest in all of MiLB, trailing the Low-A Burlington Bees (2.58) and Advanced-A Clearwater Threshers (2.67)...The club ranks second in the league with 418 strikeouts, and the pitching staff has logged a league-high 480 1/3 innings of work.
