RHP Matt Klinker Heads to DL

Zebulon, NC-- The Cincinnati Reds have made a series of roster moves impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's game against the Jacksonville Suns.

RHP Matt Klinker has been put on the DL with a strained intercostal muscle. This is Klinker's first trip to the DL this season. He was 6-7 with a 5.23 ERA on the season with the Mudcats.

In the trade that Cincinnati made with the Washington Nationals on Tuesday, the Reds acquired minor league outfielder Bill Rhinehart. Rhinehart was on the Double-A affiliate for the Nationals, the Harrisburg Senators. He was batting .283 with 21HR and 59RBI's on the season.

The Mudcats roster remains at the Southern League limit 24 players.
