
RHP James Dykstra Placed on DL, Euclides Leyer Joins Dash

Winston-Salem Dash News Release
The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- RHP Euclides Leyer promoted to Winston-Salem from extended spring training
- RHP James Dykstra placed on seven-day disabled list (retroactive to 5/9)
Leyer was with Winston-Salem all of last season as a reliever. The brother of current Dash righty Robinson, Euclides was re-signed by the White Sox after the Reds released him at the end of Spring Training.
Dykstra is 3-1 with a 2.78 ERA in six starts with the Dash this season. He threw Winston-Salem's first no-hitter since 2009 on April 15 at Potomac.
The Dash's roster stands at the Carolina League maximum of 25 players (plus 3 on the disabled list).
