OTTAWA - The Lynx go into this week's four-game series against the two-time defending International League Champion Toledo Mud Hens with some reinforcements.
3B Brennan King has been activated today from the Lynx disabled list and RHP Clay Condrey was outrighted to the Lynx by the parent Philadelphia Phillies.
King, 26, is hitting .279 with 2 HR and 26 RBI for the Lynx this season. When he went on the DL May 29th, he had started all but one game the Lynx had played at third base. He spent last season with the Phillies' Triple-A affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, hitting .261 with 12 HR and 48 RBI in 97 games.
Condrey, 31, was 2-0 with a 9.00 ERA in 12 games with the Phillies this season. He was first outrighted to the Lynx April 20th and recalled to Philadelphia May 5th. He has no record and a 3.52 ERA in four games with the Lynx this season.
