Matt Miller Activated to Bisons Roster, Dittler Transferred to Akron

The Buffalo Bisons announced that they activated RHP Matt Miller prior to their game on Sunday, June 17 against the Norfolk Tides. Miller was optioned by the Cleveland Indians on Thursday when LHP Jason Stanford joined the big league club.

To make room on the Herd roster, RHP Jake Dittler was transferred to Double-A Akron.

Miller pitched a scoreless inning for the Bisons on Sunday. It was his 11th consecutive scoreless outing for Buffalo. Since May 19, he has allowed just five hits in 10 innings, while striking out 17. In 2007 overall, Miller is 0-0 with a 3.21 ERA (14.0IP, 9H, 5R/ER, 6BB, 18K) in 15 appearances with the Bisons.

With Cleveland, Miller made 2 appearances (1.0IP, 2H, 0R).

Dittler was 3-1 with a 5.23ERA in seven games and one start (20.2IP, 25H, 13R, 12ER, 5BB, 9K). His lone loss came in a complete game in the second game of a doubleheader on June 9 (6.0IP, 5H, 2R, 2ER, 5K).
