
Reno Bighorns Acquire Alfred Aboya

Reno, NV., March 20, 2014 - The Reno Bighorns announced today that they have acquired 6' 9" Forward/Center Alfred Aboya from the available player pool.
Aboya recently played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, before being released on February 4th.
This season, Aboya is averaging 2.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game, in 14 games played with the Mad Ants.
Prior to his NBA D-League experience, he spent time overseas with: Olympique Antibes, the Japan Basketball League, Liga Profesional de Baloncesto, Turkish Basketball Second League, Shiga Lakestars and Final Genclik.
Aboya played collegiately at UCLA, where he had a standout career. He was part of the winningest class in UCLA history with 123 wins. During his senior year, he averaged 9.9 points and 6.3 rebounds a game, both personal bests.
Aboya will wear number 24 for the Bighorns. The roster now stands at 12 players.
