From the Notes

Bradley Wins PCL Weekly Honor: Reno righty Archie Bradley is the PCL Pitcher of the Week for May 16-22, as announced by the league office on Monday. The Aces hurler defeated Omaha on Saturday in his only appearance of the week, allowing three hits and three walks over eight shutout innings with nine strikeouts. The award marks the first PCL weekly accolade for Bradley and his fourth career weekly pitching award. He earned the Southern League honor twice and the California League distinction once during the 2013 season. In addition, this is the first time Reno has had two pitchers win the weekly league honor in a season (Braden Shipley, May 2).

By the Numbers - 3: Archie Bradley's PCL Pitcher of the Week award marks the Aces' third league weekly accolade this season. Reno's first PCL honor last year came on May 25.

Difficulties in the Big Easy: The Aces and Zephyrs play just one four-game series per season against each other since they are in different conferences. Reno leads the all-time series by a slim 14-13 margin, but the Aces are just 6-9 in New Orleans. The Aces have not won a series in Louisiana since sweeping a three-game set in 2010, going 3-9 in three trips since then.
