Seven of Eight: The Sounds came up just short of sweeping the eight-game homestand. The last time Nashville won seven games during an eight-game homestand was from July 30-August 6 of 2013. They started that stretch with a sweep of Las Vegas then they took three of four from Tucson.

Sin City: The last time the Sounds went to Las Vegas was June 17-20 of 2014. They were walked off in the series opener, lost the middle two games, and then blew a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the ninth inning to suffer a crushing 5-4 loss in the series finale.
