March 4, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL)
Ontario Reign News Release
ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings and AHL Manchester Monarchs, announced their "Go Green" night, presented by Claremont DoubleTree Hotel, is scheduled for Saturday, March 7.
The Reign and the Frontier Project have partnered up to bring "Go Green Night" to the Citizens Business Bank Arena. The night will be focused around promoting "green" practices, and will feature the Frontier Project's Eco-Village that will host informational booths and activities. Fans will have the opportunity to recycle their old cell phones for Chuck-A-Pucks, and bid on the special green-themed jerseys the Reign will be wearing for the night's match against the Bakersfield Condors. All proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the Frontier Project.
Prior to the game, the Foothill Communities New Generation Rotary Club will be hosting an E-Waste (electronic waste) recycling event in the arena parking lot from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
In addition, the first 4,000 fans in attendance will receive a special edition green puck sponsored by Turner Construction and the Frontier Project. An extremely limited number of tickets are available for this game.
