Reign Announce 2013-14 Promotional Calendar

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, have announced the promotional schedule for the 2013-14 season presented by Loma Linda University Children's Hospital. The Reign look forward to another exciting year celebrating the best fans in the league with great giveaways and promotions.
The Reign will again benefit local charitable organizations through six live, on-ice, post-game jersey auctions. Last season the Reign helped raise more than $185,000 through jersey auctions alone, with the auctions averaging close to $30,000 in proceeds.
Boston's Gourmet Pizza in Rancho Cucamonga is the best place to meet Reign players after the game when they stop by for nine Post-Game Player Parties. Boston's serves great food at great prices and they will give an additional 15% off each bill (excluding alcohol) to diners who show their Reign ticket stub.
The Reign want fans to fill Citizens Business Bank Arena on Opening Night, Saturday, Oct. 19, to watch the unveiling of the team's third Pacific Division Championship banner. The puck drops at 6 p.m. for this game. To keep up to date on when to next catch the Reign, everyone in attendance will receive a 2013-14 magnet schedule, sponsored by Ignite Advertising.
Hooters is the place to be for Reign Pre-Game Rallies with five through 2013-14. Fans can get their fill of Hooters' famous wings during 12 Free Wing Fridays. The first Pre-Game Rally and Free Wing Friday is Friday, Oct. 25.
Ontario Reign will honor military personnel and veterans on Military Appreciation Night, Sunday, Oct. 27, with the first specialty jersey night of the season. Presented by Stater Bros. Charities, the Reign will celebrate those defending the red, white, and blue with American flag inspired jerseys to be auctioned off on the ice immediately following the game; proceeds will benefit local veteran organizations.
Wednesday, Nov. 6 is the first of nine Farmers Insurance 2 for 1 Wednesday games. Farmers Insurance presents fans with 2 for 1 ticket vouchers for all Wednesday games. Locate your nearest participating Farmers Insurance location to pick up your 2 for 1 ticket vouchers for any Wednesday game this season. Particpating locations can be found at ontarioreign.com/2for1tickets.
Farmer John and Citizens Business Bank Arena is also proud to present a 2 for 1 deal on hot dogs at the arena concession stands for each Sunday game, excluding Sunday, March 16.
Calling Beth Kristensen! This Reign Season Ticket Holder renewed her seats early and was entered into the Early Bird prize drawing and was the lucky winner of a specialty theme night focused all around her. On Friday, Nov. 22 the Reign will thank Beth for her support by making her the center of attention for the entire game.
Specialty jersey night number two is on Saturday, Nov. 23 with a fun paint themed jersey design representing Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, the hospital's foundation is the beneficiary of the live auction following the game. Not only will this game show off the players in awesome jerseys, but the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive an Ontario Reign mini-stick, compliments of Steve's Service.
The Reign's first regular season watch party is on Friday, Nov. 29 at Dave and Buster's when the team travels to Stockton for a 7:30 p.m. game. Dave and Buster's will host five total watch parties throughout the season.
Fans won't want to miss out on the Friday, Dec. 6 game because that is the always popular Reign blanket giveaway sponsored by Promotional Adventures and San Antonio Community Hospital. The Reign players will wear a special SACH jersey to be auctioned after the game; benefiting the San Antonio Community Hospital Foundation.
Start getting your Teddy Bears and throwing arms ready for Saturday, Dec. 7 because it's the Reign's annual Teddy Bear Toss game! When the Reign score their first goal, the players want to see a downpour of stuffed animals onto the ice as they will all be donated to a local charity. Boy Scout troops will be in attendance on this night with specialty patches for each scout.
Don't throw your ugly holiday sweaters away just yet! The Reign want to see them in full force on Friday, Dec. 20 when they take on the Stockton Thunder at 6 p.m. for ugly Holiday Sweater night.
Fans know no one can stop the Reign, but on Saturday, Jan. 18 the first 5,000 fans through the gates can try to stop the rain with an umbrella giveaway sponsored by the Ontario Reign Dance Team. On this same night, the Reign will wear the winning American Red Cross jersey design - as voted on by Reign fans at ontarioreign.com. These specialty jerseys will be auctioned after the game with proceeds benefitting the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter. The winning jersey worn at this game will be announced on Opening Night.
On Sunday, Feb. 9, Girl Scouts will be at Citizens Business Bank Arena kicking off their sale of America's favorite cookies - their famous Girl Scout cookies! This Cookie Kick-Off will kick off the Reign vs. Bulls game, which starts at 3 p.m.
An Ontario Reign coin bank is being given away to the first 5,000 fans on Saturday, Feb. 15. This is the University of La Verne's Go Green and Teacher Appreciation specialty jersey night. McCoy Recycling will be on-site to help remind fans how to keep the environment clean. The players will wear go green jerseys for this game, which will be auctioned off on the ice following the game to benefit the University of La Verne's Scholarship Fund.
Fire on Ice returns for its sixth straight season with a hockey doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. The Ontario Fire Department will face off against the Los Angeles Fire Department on Sunday, Mar. 16. Following the charity game, the Reign will play the Idaho Steelheads at 6 p.m. This night is sponsored by the Ontario Airport benefitting the Ontario Airport USO.
The Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley returns to Citizens Business Bank Arena on Saturday, Mar. 29 with Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley Jersey Night. All funds raised at the live auction following the game will directly benefit the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley. This year's design is by Jon Francisco and Matthew & Zachary Seymour.
Fan Appreciation Night, brought to you by Toyota, will be played on Saturday, Apr. 12 at 6 p.m. against the Bakersfield Condors - the same team the Reign opened the season against. Every fan will leave a winner and some will leave with something more; a jersey off a player's back. That's not all! Toyota will be giving away a truck to one lucky Chuck-a-Puck contestant as part of a season-long contest.
